Learning One-on-One

  • Gentle, growth‑minded teaching that meets each student where they are
  • Classical technique: posture, bow control, accurate pitch and tone
  • Clear structure with weekly targets and realistic practice minutes
  • Real musicianship that transfers to orchestra and chamber groups
  • Consistent communication so parents always know what’s next

How It Works

1

Say hello

Tell me your child’s age, experience, goals and general availability.

2

Free trial lesson

We check whether lessons are a good fit, confirm instrument size and, for online lessons, review camera and room setup.

3

First 4–6 weeks

Develop practice habits with short assignments and prompt feedback.

4

Ongoing lessons

Work on technique, reading and musical expression at your child’s pace.

5

Celebrate growth

Low‑pressure performance options as confidence grows.

Practice That Sticks

Short, regular practice works better than long catch‑up sessions. You’ll get a plan with small weekly goals, such as working on tone, rhythm or a few measures, and a practice tracker. Parents also get a one‑page guide to help keep home practice calm and predictable.

Who It’s Great For

  • Beginners who need a patient, step‑by‑step start
  • School orchestra players who want stronger reading and rhythm
  • Audition prep for seating, festivals or youth ensembles
  • Advancing students polishing tone, vibrato and shifting
