I teach cello to kids and teens ages 5–18 in Jackson County, Oregon, from first-time beginners to advancing players. I’m a cellist and a mom who loves music and kids. I trained in classical performance and early childhood education, so lessons are fun and the technique is serious. Lessons are $40 for one hour, and your first trial lesson is free.

I’m Dchenin Villaseñor, a classically trained cellist with more than 20 years of performance experience and professional training in early childhood education. I’m also a mom, so I know lessons have to fit real family life. I plan each lesson around your child, keep it fun and take the technique seriously.

Yes. Many of my students start with no experience, and we work on the fundamentals from the first lesson.
Mostly ages 5–18. If your student is younger or older, get in touch to discuss whether lessons are a good fit.
